All American Pools has been an exclusive Doughboy Above-Ground dealer since opening in 1955.  Doughboy invented the first portable above-ground pool 60 years ago and continues to be an industry leader.  Doughboy is the only above-ground manufacturer that makes ALL the major components to a pool:  

  • Metal and resin parts
  • Liners made right from the pellet; no clay fillers or reprocessed material
  • Filters
  • Pumps
  • Thru-wall skimmers with jet return fittings

Doughboy is an All American Company and makes and produces all of their merchandise in West Helena, Arkansas.  Doughboy has steel and resin pools available and offers 8 round and 10 oval pool sizes.  All pools are “true” sized directly based on the inside pool wall.  Walls are heavier copper bearing steel that are 30-60 lbs. heavier than other brands.  We also offer exclusive Zinc Clad Hot-Dipped Galvanized steel walls with a special Epoxy coating on the INSIDE of the wall to provide added protection.  Doughboy pools have deeper wall corrugation per inch for flexibility and vertical strength than any other brand.  We use an exclusive Slide-Bar wall connector for strength rather than nuts and bolts that will eventually weaken the wall.  Adding additional strength, Doughboy pools have more top rails and verticals.  All pools have “true” vertical and top rail measurements.  We do not use wrap-around measurements.

Doughboy Oval pools use a COM-PAC II support system that exposes only 9 inches of the support as opposed to other brands that have 3 ft. side vertical supports.  The pools have extra wide pre-punched skimmer openings.  We flatten the area around the skimmer and return openings and use U-Gaskets eliminating the “need” of a stainless steel panel.  The use of such a panel causes what is called “Dissimilar Metal Corrosion”.  Doughboy skimmers have in-pool, direct vacuuming ports for easier pool cleaning.  All American Pools offers lifetime warranties on all bottom rails, resin components on any pool and all resin and metal components on Desert Spring pools.
